CONSULTANT/EXPERT WITNESS with extensive training, experience and expertise in all aspects of motorcycle operation, function and accident reconstruction. All areas of operation are covered, including: accident reconstruction, operator performance evaluation, mechanical and electrical system malfunction analysis as well as speed determinations from skid/scrape marks, damage evidence, deformation/penetration patterns and other physical evidence. For the last 30 years, Expert Witness testimony offered by Mr. Toaspern has been accepted at all levels of court jurisdiction including, Federal, State, Local, Arbitration and Criminal Courts as well as International Court venues.

      • Provide research and consultation services and expert testimony for the courts through client firms throughout the United States and the world.
    1976 - 1986
      Chief Executive Officer, Toasperns, Inc., Binghamton, NY
      • Managed and directed all operations in New York State licensed franchise motorcycle and snowmobile dealership including sales, repair, and inspection services for Yamaha, Honda, and Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and Yamaha and Ski-Doo snowmobile lines.
      • Increased sales base from an annual volume of $300,000 to $900,000 within a six-year period.
      • Developed and increased expertise in assembly, inspection, trouble-shooting and performance evaluation of motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and related equipment.
      • Designed, built, and modified numerous motorcycle, snowmobile, and ATV systems for increased performance, reliability and safety.
      • Engineered and constructed a motorcycle/ATV racing facility in Belden, NY; received numerous racing awards, including AMA District 3 and NY State Championships.
